Excelelnt condition. uMgs have been preserved from dust, direct light and handling. No scratches, cracks or other damage. The mugs feature generals napoleon and wellington, each in military dress uniform. Each mug handle si a banner with the names of major battles napoleon's reads austerlitz, moscow, waterloo and wellington's reads assaye, spain, waterloo. Hand-made and hand-painted in 1995. Number 664, designed by william k. Harpre and issued in 1995. These jugs were issued to commemorate the 180th anniversary of the battle of waterloo. The pair were commissioned by lawleys by post and issued in a limited edition of 2,500 sets. Mugs are just over 4 inches tall.
